The procurement and supply profession has advanced its standing and significance rapidly over the past few years, nowhere more so than in the Middle East. But following dramatic global political and economic developments, there are now new expectations on professionals to deliver even more value for both their organisation, and the wider region.
At the 2015 CIPS Middle East Conference, held on 11 May at the InterContinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi, delegates found out how procurement executives and experts in the Middle East tackle these challenges, take advantage of the opportunities and what the future looks like for the profession.
Delegates heard from local and global speakers, participated in practical workshops, networked with peers.
After the conference we held an awards ceremony and networking dinner at the same venue, the InterContinental Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
